Painting…

For many people, painting means just one coat of paint on the walls and one finishing coat on the door and skirting boards.
This is about 6–7 hours of work for a bathroom like this.
The quality is highly questionable. 😔

How I do it:

Walls…

Cracks and unstable areas are scraped back.

Gaps, holes, and uneven surfaces are repaired and filled.

Fine sanding of the surface.

First coat of paint diluted by 20%, so it soaks in and properly bonds the base.

Second coat diluted by 10% to achieve perfect coverage and colour.

If necessary, a third coat is applied to the corners.

Walls finished! ✅

Woodwork…

Full sanding.

Repair of defects and cracks.

Sanding of repairs and smoothing of edges.

2 coats of primer for a perfectly smooth, white base.

1 finishing coat.

Door and skirting boards finished! ✅

Then comes the cleaning…🧹

This took 19 hours for this bathroom, for example.

However, the quality is unquestionable,
and the finish will stay beautiful for much longer.

On top of that, the next time it needs painting, the job will be much easier!
