If you have a favourite local charity or cause that needs funds let me know. B'Dazzled was originally created by Friends of Marple Memorial Park volunteer Diane Jackson to raise funds for the park.

Thank you to everyone who came along to The Ridge Methodist Church Community Celebration Festival today. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we did. Thanks also to Judith Laycock and all the volunteers who baked cakes, served refreshments, washed the dishes and tidied up afterwards.

Tomorrow why not bring your youngsters along to the Community Celebration Festival at The Ridge Methodist Church, Hawk Green for an afternoon of FREE activities, pebble painting, making greeting cards and games to play. Plus refreshments and home baked cakes for sale in the Refreshments Room. Plenty going on for grown ups too.

One teaspoon of honey is the lifetime work of about 12 bees. That tiny spoonful comes from approximately 30,000 flower visits and roughly 800 miles of bee flight – amazing.
