A little girl’s bedroom designed to grow with her.

The aim for this room was to create something playful and magical, but still soft and timeless enough to grow with her.
I started with the layout, making sure we had space for everything she needs now, a cosy bed, plenty of storage, a desk for drawing and homework, and importantly, enough open floor space to actually play.

The floral wallpaper became the statement of the room, balanced with soft pinks, warm neutrals and natural textures. I love how the arched shelving, scalloped details and little touches of lilac bring personality without making the space feel overly themed.

Pretty, practical and designed with the years ahead in mind. 🤍

A little life lately 🤍
Somehow my last post was back in July… and I’m not quite sure where the last couple of months have gone!

Summer has been a mixture of family time, travelling, weddings, days out and trying to soak up as much time together as possible with work squeezed into all the little spaces in between.
Behind the scenes I’ve still been very much here, working on some lovely client projects, designing, sourcing, putting together documentation and making lots of decisions (and looking at more samples than I’d like to admit 😂).

September has brought a big milestone for us too, with my daughter starting Reception 🥹 I think knowing that was coming made me want to slow down a little over summer and really enjoy those moments with her.
And somewhere amongst all of that, we’ve also been working on my daughter’s new bedroom, which I’ve affectionately named “50 Shades of Pink” 😂 because there really are that many shades of pink in there! Definitely more pink than I’d usually put in one room, but she had a vision and I wanted to make her little dream room come true. 🥹 From wallpaper and fabrics to painting tiny bobbin mouldings one by one, it’s been a real labour of love. The full reveal is coming soon… 👀

We’re slowly finding our new routine now and I’m ready to find my way back here too. There’s so much work from the last few months I haven’t shared yet, alongside plenty happening in our own home.

A very full summer, lots of lovely memories, lots happening behind the scenes… and now hopefully a little more Instagram again 🤎

A bedroom should feel like somewhere you can truly switch off at the end of the day.

For this scheme, I combined soft neutral tones, warm oak, natural textures and touches of brass to create a space that feels calm, timeless and inviting.
Layering different materials, from boucle and linen to cane and wood, adds depth while keeping the palette light and effortless.

It's a reminder that luxury doesn't have to mean bold or extravagant. Sometimes it's the quiet, considered details that make a room feel truly special.

Soft layers, warm woods, organic textures.

I always want my designs to feel calm, effortless and genuinely lived in, spaces that look beautiful but also feel grounding to come home every day.

Warm tones, soft texture layering and antique brass details.

Working on this kitchen scheme at the moment and really loving how warm and calm it’s starting to feel already.
The mix of taupe tones, darker wood and softer textures keeps it feeling neutral but still with enough depth and character.

I always find warmer neutrals work so much better when they’re layered properly rather than everything being too flat or one tone.

One of those spaces that will feel even better once natural light hits all the textures properly.

One of the living room concepts I’m currently working on, layered neutrals, earthy tones and timeless pieces to create a space that feels calm, warm and inviting without feeling flat.

I always love adding a slightly darker statement piece to ground softer palettes and bring a little more depth to the room.

M&S HOME FINDS 🤍

I’m loving how warm and effortless this selection feels. It's all about soft neutrals, natural textures and those subtle statement pieces that elevate a space without overpowering it.

Think:
– layered cushions for that relaxed, lived-in feel
– warm lighting to create a cosy atmosphere
– sculptural accessories to add interest
– and a timeless armchair that grounds the whole look

This is exactly how I approach designing a space, keeping it calm, cohesive and quietly elevated.

Everything works together, but each piece could just as easily stand on its own.
