Hey tis me Michaleen💜 IT'S WORLD STROKE DAY | EVERY MINUTE COUNTS 💜
If you’d told me that one day I’d be running my own little floristry business, I’m not sure I’d have believed you… especially after working long hours with a long term illness for 35 years in local government and having a stroke 9 years ago and keeping working at the same pace 🙃
Life has a way of changing in an instant, reminding you just how precious time is and how important it is to keep finding reasons to smile, things to look forward to, and dreams to chase. ❤️
🌿 Fabel & Bloom has become so much more than a small business to me. It’s a passion now, my creativity, my chance to do something I love and bring a little happiness into other people’s lives through flowers and having a chat to people.
Every bouquet, every order, every lovely message or review and every customer who chooses to support my little business, means more than you might realise. 💐
I never imagined floristry would be part of my journey, but here I am, still learning, still creating and still doing something that makes me happy... apart from being a Nana, of course. 🥰
So, today, on World Stroke Day, I also want to share an important reminder. Stroke can happen to anyone, at any age, and every minute counts.
🚨 ACT FAST. SPOT THE SIGNS.
F – Face: Has their face drooped on one side?
A – Arms: Can they raise both arms?
S – Speech: Is their speech slurred or confused?
T – Time: Call 999 immediately if you notice any of these signs.
Please don't ignore the signs or wait to see if they pass.
💜 From my own experiences, life can take an unexpected turn. I'm grateful to have completed a 35 year career in events and management, be doing something I love in semi-retirement and saying a BIIIIG THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Fabel & Bloom along the way, including Florist Wedding & Craft Supplies.
F&B Your Neighbour Florist, flowers made personal, not supermarket ordinary.🌸
