Last Thursday, we came together for our bi-annual sales meeting at Port Vale Football Club. As proud sponsors of the club, it was the perfect venue to step back, reflect, and look ahead as a team.

The day provided a great opportunity to review our successes across 2025, openly discuss challenges we’ve faced, and share key learnings. These conversations are vital as we continue to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing market and prepare for the opportunities 2026 will bring.

Alongside looking ahead, the meeting was very much about celebration. We were delighted to recognise Karl Field’s six-month milestone with the business.

In a short space of time, Karl has made a real impact — contributing strongly to the team while delivering excellent results for his customers.

We also explored upcoming lighting projects, discussed how we can build on what’s worked well, and identified where we can improve to ensure continued success moving forward.

Last Thursday, and Aaron Peers attended City Electrical Factors Live 2025—a fantastic and bustling event packed with insight and innovation. The day featured a range of engaging tech talks, particularly on fire alarm installation and the IET wiring regulations.

It was also a great opportunity to reconnect with customers and build new relationships. A highlight was catching up with James Bareham from CEF Strood and his customer, Paul.
