A little life update from the person behind the candles… 🤍💍

For those of you who have been here for a while, you'll know that my last post was a little emotional, sharing what I thought might be the last Aurali candle I'd ever make.

Life has taken some unexpected turns since then, and whilst I've been quiet on here, there's been a lot happening behind the scenes.

But amongst all the changes, challenges and uncertainty, there's been some really beautiful moments too.

On Saturday, I married my best friend. 🥹❤️
I wanted to share this little piece of happiness with you all because, although Aurali has always been about the candles, there's a real person behind this little business too.

So many of you supported me, encouraged me, bought from me, visited me at markets and celebrated the little wins along the way. I've never forgotten that, and it means more than you probably realise.

I'm not quite ready to talk about what's next for Aurali, but I didn't want to keep disappearing without letting you know that I'm still here.

For now, I'm enjoying this beautiful new chapter of life, feeling incredibly grateful, and taking things one step at a time. 🤍

🕯️ The last candle I ever made…

Tonight, I lit the very last candle I made for

And honestly… it felt like the end of something.

A little while ago, I lost my business.

My unit. My equipment. My stock. So much love, hard work and thousands of pounds invested into something I had built from the ground up.

I lost something I had poured so much of myself into and for a long time, I didn't know whether I would ever make another candle again.

But tonight, sitting with this one burning, I realised something…

Maybe this isn't the end. Maybe it's the beginning.

Because this candle represents everything Aurali was. But the reason I'm lighting it tonight represents everything I want Aurali to become.

A moment to stop, to breathe. To come home from a long day and give yourself permission to do absolutely nothing, just for a little while.

Because somewhere between work, family, responsibilities and simply trying to keep everything together, we can forget that we matter too.

And maybe that's what I want Aurali to be about from here on. Little reminders to slow down, reset and look after yourself — without feeling guilty for it.

So this is me, starting again.

With one last Aurali candle, a whole lot of hope, and absolutely no idea exactly where this journey is going to take me.

But I'm ready to find out.

Let's see what we can all rebuild from here… 🤍

✨ Thinking of something a little different this Christmas✨

I’ve been having a bit of a clear-out of old candle stock and thought it might be fun to create some DIY candle-making kits — perfect as Christmas gifts or a cosy winter activity! 🎄🕯️

I’d love to know what you think — would you (or someone you love) be interested in something like this? 💭

Here’s what I’m thinking:

🕯️ Vessel Kit – includes a 30cl jar, wick, high-quality soy wax, your choice of a wooden wick or eco-friendly cotton wick, and fragrance oil.

🌸 Mould Kit – includes a candle mould, soy wax, fragrance oil, eco cotton wick, and 3 eco-friendly dye chips for colour!

Each kit will also come with a branded CLP label, so your finished candle looks beautifully professional and fully compliant.

✨ Just like every Aurali Candle Co product, these kits are vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, and made with the same high-quality ingredients I use in all my candles — only this time, you (or a loved one) get to make them! 💚
