Meet our newest bag pattern!

It’s quirky, compact and lightweight, but don’t let its small size fool you…

🥤 A clever spot for your bottle! The front expands to accommodate your bottle or coffee cup, so it has its own little place to go.

📱 Room for your essentials. There’s space to comfortably fit a standard iPad, too!

🧵 Lovely details inside and out. The bound inner seams help give the backpack extra structure and a beautifully finished interior.

And of course, it has that slightly quirky front that makes this bag different from everything else. 😍

Perfect for those days when you want to carry your essentials without lugging around a big, heavy bag.

The Shoe-shoe backpack is here!

The Shoe-Shoe is a lightweight small backpack that fits a standard size iPad in it.
It has bound inner seams for that great structure and the quirky front bit expands out to fit your bottle.
Recommended skill level is intermediate due to the binding and eyelets but we always encourage everyone who wants to to give it a go 😃

One tool, two jobs! 🙌🏼

If you’ve ever needed to add eyelets/ grommets to a bag, this is a handy tool to have in your sewing room.

It punches the hole in your material and then sets the eyelet in place, giving you a neat finish without needed two separate tools.

Our new sewing pattern launching this Sunday features grommets, so now’s a great time to think about a new tool 😅

They’re all simple, quick tips to give your machine all the help it can get.
Bag making can seem harder on your sewing machine than dressmaking and maybe you don’t want to be stuck only using quilting cotton for your bags.
With a little help and some loving care from you, your machine can start living up to its full potential and you can start experimenting making bags and using different materials.
