Autumn light, deep green and timber beams. 🍂

A U-shaped kitchen with deep green base units and soft putty wall units, a waterfall peninsula that seats three, and a splashback that runs right up to the wall units. An oak-lined niche by the garden doors keeps everyday things close at hand.

Most kitchen companies give you a handful of colours, and anything else costs extra.

We don’t work that way. We don’t keep stock colours. Every door is sprayed to order, by hand, in our Macmerry workshop. That means sage, navy, terracotta or a shade only you’ve thought of all cost the same.

No colour surcharge. Ever.

Blue-grey, oak and a splash of yellow.

A light-filled kitchen with a sink run under oak shelves, a venting hob in the island so no extractor hangs over it, and handleless drawers with oak finger rails. A built-in bench by the garden window turns the dining corner into the best seat in the house.

Inside, every drawer is planned: deep ones for plates, a slim one just for mugs.

Oak and Ceppo di Gré, in a Georgian room.

Instead of wall cupboards, there’s a long run of handleless oak drawers under one continuous stone worktop, splashback and shelf.

The stone-topped island runs straight into an oak dining table, so you can cook and eat in the same place.

Inside, the drawers are solid oak and dovetailed, with inner drawers sized for what goes in them.

Every piece was designed for this room and made in our Macmerry workshop.

hidden.

A new build in Gattonside, and a kitchen designed with the house rather than added to it.

Matt black runs from floor to ceiling, handleless and uninterrupted. Open the tall doors and there’s a full coffee station. Close them and it disappears. Behind the panels sits a walk-in pantry, and the only warm note is the brass tap at the sink.

Some kitchens chase what’s new. We’d rather make one you never need to replace.

Oak fronts, porcelain floor tiles, and morning light doing the rest.

Every run here was drawn to fit this room, from the tall oak pocket doors to the long galley out to the garden.

It’s all in the details.

Dovetailed drawers with fitted inserts. Bar handles in the same wood as the doors. A metal worktop wrapping a dark wood base. Stone shaped into a shelf and a curved splashback. Drawers with no handles at all, just a clean finger pull.

Every one of these is designed and made in our Macmerry workshop.
