Sea-inspired cushions for the wonderful Kate Millbank 🌊
I've had the absolute joy of making a set of cushions for local Scottish artist using her stunning new fabric designs inspired by the sea
Kate spends much of her time snorkelling and drawing in the water, and you can feel that in every line of this print: the movement, the light, the calm of being beneath the waves
Her fabrics are as kind to the planet as they are beautiful, printed with eco-friendly inks on eco-friendly cotton 🌿
For this cushion design I kept things beautifully simple: square cushions with a neat 1cm border, so the fabric can take centre stage in all its glory. When a design is this special, it doesn't need anything else
