Heart of Gaza exhibition in Norwich 🇵🇸
HeART of Gaza is a travelling exhibition of art created by children (aged 3 to 17) living in Gaza. Founded in June 2024 by Mohammed Timraz (Deir al Balah, Gaza) and Feile Butler (Sligo, Ireland), HeART of Gaza provides a platform for the most voiceless, the most vulnerable and the most impacted by this genocide. So far, HeART of Gaza has reached over 25 Countries with over 300 exhibitions. You can keep up to date with the project on instagram .of.gaza.
I will be hosting HeART of Gaza in Norwich, where it will be kindly exhibiting at Gallery 56 on St Benedicts Street during March the 12th until the 18th 2026. My friend Ben Petchy who also owns RawRetro vintage is helping me curate this.
Due to the costs of venue hire, framing, printing, making merchandise and advertising for this I am reaching out to anyone who wishes to donate using the link in my bio that will in turn be helping me with the costs of organising the exhibition and spreading awareness in Norwich and the UK- giving the most vunerable children a platform to share their truth and creativity. While the exhibition is on, there will be fundraising links which will go direct to HeART of Gaza- helping to keep these workshops going in Gaza giving a safe space for children to create, along with funds left over to help with humanitarian aid. In the exhibition there will be workshop space for the public to respond to the children of Gaza's statement and art that I will be scanning and sending back to the people of Palestine to show our solidarity and support for a more compassionate society.
Along with using funds from my illustration work and tattooing, I am planning to make a tattoo style flash print with Palestinian mythology to sell. All profits will be going towards this powerful cause. I will share my progress along the way.
