🥰One of my favourite things about Little Bloomers is becoming somebody’s florist.
👉Not just the person they order from once.
🥰The person they return to for the birthdays, the celebrations, the difficult days and all the moments when flowers need to say something properly.
🥰Over time, I begin to recognise names.
🥰I remember favourite flowers.
🥰I know who loves colour, who prefers something softer and who wants the biggest bouquet I can possibly create.
🥰That kind of trust is incredibly special.
🥰You are not simply buying flowers from Little Bloomers.
🥰You are trusting me to understand the moment and create something worthy of it.

〰️The heavy buckets.
〰️The wet floors.
〰️The thorns.
〰️The stems that refuse to cooperate.
〰️The early flower collections.
〰️The late night messages.
〰️The sweeping up for what feels like the hundredth time.
〰️You usually only see the beautiful finished bouquet.
〰️And that is exactly how it should be.
〰️But behind every photograph is a very real person working incredibly hard to make it look effortless.
〰️Floristry is beautiful.
〰️It is also physical, messy, emotional and completely consuming.
〰️And somehow, even after all of that, I still look forward to creating the next one.

🥰I may create them daily, but for the family, this is not a normal day.
🥰It might be the hardest day they have ever faced.
🥰Those flowers sit beside somebody deeply loved.
🥰They may hold a name, a memory, a favourite colour or something that only makes sense to the people who knew them best.
🥰That is why I will never treat a funeral tribute like just another order to get finished.
🥰I take my time.
🥰I check every detail.
🥰I step back and look again.
🥰Then I check it once more.
🥰It is a privilege to be trusted with flowers that carry so much meaning.
🥰I never forget that.

👉But beautiful flowers are not sitting here waiting to be grabbed from a shelf.
👉I order around my bookings so I can source properly, reduce waste and create something that feels considered.
👉Sometimes I can help at short notice.
👉Sometimes I genuinely cannot.
👉It is never because I do not want your order.
👉It is because I will not promise something if I cannot give it the time and quality it deserves.
👉If you know the date, please book the flowers.
It gives me the best opportunity to create something really special for you.

👉Which varieties will sit happily together.
👉How to condition them.
👉How to spiral them properly.
👉How to create shape without relying on floral foam.
👉How to make a large bouquet feel luxurious rather than simply enormous.
👉You are also paying for the stems I reject, the early starts, the careful sourcing and the time spent making sure your flowers look like Little Bloomers flowers.
👉There will always be somewhere cheaper.
👉There will also always be somebody who values the difference.

I hear those words quite often.
But I don’t think flowers should ever feel like something that has simply been thrown together.

🥰Even the most understated Little Bloomers bouquet has been considered properly.
🥰Which flowers work together.
🥰Where the movement needs to be.
🥰Which stem needs turning slightly.
🥰Whether it feels balanced.
🥰Whether it looks beautiful from every angle.
🥰Whether I would be genuinely excited to receive it myself.

👉I don’t switch off that part of my brain just because somebody hasn’t ordered the biggest bouquet on the page.
👉Every bouquet has somebody’s name attached to it.
👉Somebody is waiting for it.
👉Somebody chose us to create it.

🥰That matters to me.

WHY CAN’T I ALWAYS GET A LITTLE BLOOMERS BOUQUET TOMORROW? 🌸

❌Because we don't conveyor belt flowers.

✌🏼And we never want to.

👉Little Bloomers isn't a traditional walk in flower shop with buckets and buckets of flowers waiting to be sold. We’re a studio florist and we work around the orders already in our diary.

✔️We source the very best flowers we can.

✔️We condition them.

✔️We choose every stem.

🙌We build our bouquets properly, by hand, spiralling the stems and taking the time to get the shape, movement and balance just right.

❌We don't put our hand tied bouquets into floral foam to make them quicker or easier to produce.

✅We actually make them.

🥰And we care about every single one that leaves us.

🤷‍♀️Could we change the way we work and churn out more bouquets every day?

✔️Probably.

😉But we don't want to create more.

✅We want to create better- always!

🚚We absolutely offer same day and next day flowers when our diary, stock and time allow. Sometimes we'll have exactly what we need and can create something gorgeous for you at short notice.

🙈But sometimes we're full.

👉And we'd rather say that than squeeze another order in and compromise on what leaves our workshop.

💐Giving us notice also means we can source specifically for your order and really go to town.

One of our luxury bouquets, chosen for someone very special because sometimes only an armful of flowers will do.

Masses of soft pink roses, beautiful hydrangeas and tall white stocks, designed with very little foliage so the flowers do all the talking.
