Want a desk chair that will last your career?

Meet ‘Archie’ 19th Century Victorian desk / side chair. Turned mahogany legs with balloon back. Newly reupholstered with Sanderson ‘Truffle - Blue Clay’ fabric and stud detail. In good condition with some natural wear to the wood. A sturdy piece, fit for a good day’s work. £975.

Personal note: I chose this piece for it’s beautiful shape. I often find desk chairs quite ugly but they don’t have to be!

Hi I’m Rebecca Hardy - Antique Dealer specialising in British 19th/20th-century seating and lighting. My 30s have been transformative years, becoming a mum shifted my focus. I couldn’t imagine going back to a corporate job I didn’t love, so I started getting creative in the home. Moving pieces around, adding bits (too many!) sanding chairs, polishing brass, deliberating on fabrics…. and so Rebecca Hardy Antiques was born, after my daughter. Since I’m small, it allows me to balance a bit of commercial work with my main job at the moment, being a mum 🫶🏻
