✨ ANNOUNCEMENT ✨

Well I don’t know if this will come as a shock to many people, given our lack of posts/restocks.

However I have come to the decision that at the end of the year we will be closing 🥲. I’ve know this for a while but writing this post, just make it feel all the more final.

Some of you know that in July I changed my job and whilst only part time, it was Monday - Friday, leaving only evenings and weekends. Whilst that seems possible throw in 2 kids, after school clubs, football every Saturday morning and a partner who works different shifts, there’s just not enough time in the weeks.
We are also hoping to move house 🏡 in the New Year, which means putting ours on the market, and as I have no work room (it’s my kitchen), I wouldn’t be able to commit to anything whilst this was happening.

I’ve enjoyed every minute of making wax melts and all the markets I’ve attended over the last 2 years. I’m hoping still get 2 in this year (details to be confirmed). I don’t yet have an official date on when I will close.

🎅🏼 I will be doing Christmas items, as I purchased lots of stock back in the summer. So keep an eye out for those from the start of November 🎄

✨ For my regular customers, if there is a scent that you would like from me before I close, please let me know and I will look to stock this for you ✨

I can’t thank everyone enough, from those I know, to those I have made friends with through this journey. It’s all been down to you that I have had the pleasure of doing this 💕

WOW it’s been forever since we posted last! We are still here & currently preparing for a summer fete on Sunday.

If you’re local to Bicester, we will be at the Garrison Centre in Ambrosden. Along with lots of other lovely small businesses.

👋🏻 HELLO 👋🏻

It’s been a while since we posted last, so I thought I would check in and see how everyone is.

It’s been so sad to see lots of small businesses closing over the last couple of weeks. It seems that the more we leave covid times behind the more life is changing. Whether it’s family commitments, new jobs or financial crisis of the current times, people are figuring out the new normal of 2022.

We have to remember life is for living and we have to do what’s right for us. That being said, most of you know that we recently changed our restocks to every other month. This was because of a new job, family commitments but also wanting to still do something I enjoy. I like this balance right now and not having the pressure to post or make products.

Our next restock will be in July. We have a local market happening on 10th July where all NEW products will be available. Then the website will be stocked ready for the 11th.

🛍 SMALL Vs SUPERMARKET 🛍

Today I went shopping and thought I would check out the wax melts, I usually like to smell them and get ideas for new scents. Well I have to say I was pretty shocked with what I came across.

These melts were no cheaper than what we sell, for the same weight, but I have to say the quality was pretty awful. The last photo of a “VERY WELL KNOWN BRAND” didn’t even have the full amount of wax 😳 and at £3.25 for 76g I would be expecting a full container.

Shopping small can sometimes be a little more expensive but just know that the person who made it, will have quality controlled every product. Made it to the best of their ability and put all the time and effort in to make it look good 💕

A massive thank you to everyone who has purchased this past week. Most of our new stock is now SOLD OUT 🤩

I have just 3 parcels left to post & that’s all orders up to date. I have some free time next week, so I may do a mini restock of some of the new scents that sold out so quickly. Our next big restock will be July, date TBC but will coincide with an event we have booked, so keep an eye out for that.

One of my lovely customers also asked me if I would do subscription boxes, so I’m going to look into this and hopefully get something on the cards for July.

We all know the Queen loves her dogs, so we couldn’t leave out these paw prints to represent them.

FUN FACT - The Queen currently has 4 dogs, 2 Corgis, 1 Dorgi and a Springer Spaniel. The Queen herself is credited with creating the dorgi – a dachshund-corgi mix. The Queens dogs also have their own special room and are looked after by two footman. (*taken from google)
