What a fabulous weekend! Here in Torbay we are treated to the airshow every year so we had planes buzzing around in the sky from Friday evening with two shows from the Red Arrows. Also wonderful to spend time eating and drinking with some of our neighbours and we met some lovely new people🥰

Apart from a couple of cushion covers for the outdoor furniture, no sewing was done but I was able to take some new pictures of a purse I made a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't happy with the original pictures as the colour was 'off'. To be honest, I'm still not that happy with these and I had to do some colour manipulation to get it a closer match but they will have to do!

Introducing 'Project Vomit'🤮

Don't worry, it's not as bad as it sounds. A customer of mine suffers from vertigo and if she suddenly feels ill when out and about, she needs to have some sick bags to hand.

She already has a few of my card and coin purses which are used to organise things in her bag, but wanted something to pop the sick bags in which was a little bigger, brighter and very distinctive, so easy to find in an emergency. This cute yellow owl fabric fitted the bill perfectly🦉💛

Do you need a purse for something 'special'😂? I have lots of very pretty fabrics and can make to your required size. Just message me if I can help.

Introducing my latest make - a very pretty bucket bag with an integrated pouch and internal slip pocket. The cotton rich tapestry fabric I used for the outer is called 'Kew Gardens' and you can see why! Inside is a red floral cotton fabric which picks out the red on the outer beautifully.

It has an adjustable strap so it can be worn across the body, as modelled by Doris, or on the shoulder, and the flap with a twist lock gives it that little bit of extra security.

Who else had a dreadful sleep due to the heat last night? I'm feeling quite exhausted this morning but off to work in my charity shop shortly which will take my mind off it.

So no sewing for me today, but I'll leave you with my work in progress which I plan to finish tomorrow❤️
