We then finish the Zinc with an aged Patina, which will age down to resemble Lead. The art of making zinc garden planters, so well developed in Victorian gardens, became lost with the development of galvanization for protecting metal garden accessories. The owners of APlaceInTheGarden have brought together authentic reproductions of classic designs and some fine contemporary pieces produced by the traditional process of dipping the hand made objects into molten zinc.
