🔥 WHY DO WE SWEEP BEFORE INSTALLING YOUR NEW STOVE?

Before we install a new log burner, the existing chimney is thoroughly swept and checked.

It’s not just about getting a bit of soot out. A pre-installation sweep helps us:

- 🧹 Remove soot, old deposits and debris from the chimney.
- 🐦 Check for old nests or other potential blockages.
- 🔍 Identify issues within the chimney before the new liner and stove are installed.
- 🔥 Reduce the risk associated with combustible deposits left in the flue.
- 🏠 Make sure we're starting the new installation with the chimney in the best condition possible.

Once a new liner is installed, anything left behind in the original chimney can become much harder to access — so we do the job properly from the start.

The photos show one of our chimneys being swept during the preparation stage, before the new stove installation goes in.

At Ultimate Stoves Yorkshire Ltd, it's not just about making the finished fireplace look good. It's about all the preparation and safety work you don't see once the job is finished.
