Did you know that our cookers are all British-Made?

⭐ Our ESSE models are still made in the Ouzledale foundry in Lancashire - founded in the 1930’s.

⭐ Our Everhot models are made in Dursley, at their carbon-negative factory just 3 miles down the road from their headquarters - a 13th century water-powered mill (still in use as their showroom too!).

⭐ Finally, our Reconditioned Aga Cookers. We specialise in refurbishing models made pre-2010’s. All originally forged in the 300-year-old Coalbrookdale foundry in Shropshire, before the new American owners of AGA Rangemaster shut down operations in 2017. True British icons - perfectly restored to showroom condition.

This stunning 2-Oven ElectricKit was a last-minute squeeze before we closed for our summer shutdown!

Our customers chose a custom colour-match service to match their central island cabinets, and it came out beautifully 😍

This Aga Cooker is originally around 40 years old, but you’d never know 🤫 Supplied with brand new enamel, new parts, shot-blasted ovens and a new efficient electric system inside - it’s better than it’s ever been!

We had the pleasure of meeting “ESSE Extraordinaire” during the ESSE product launch last year. She is a wonderful person and a fabulous cook! Philippa focuses on seasonal cooking using produce from local suppliers and her dishes are full of colour and nutrients.

The first cookbook in the “My Seasonal Kitchen” series is now available to order from her website - we’d recommend grabbing a copy! You can watch Philippa cooking up a storm on the stunning ESSE 1000T over on her instagram page too 🥰

We had a few visitors to the showroom today! George loved checking out the new ‘ElectricKit Advanced’ model we have in the office - “It’s sooo cool”.

Benji also joined us for a few hours of sleep in front of the Ironheart stove (in-between keeping us safe from the evil delivery men 😂).

Hope you have a lovely weekend! We’ll be back on Monday for another busy week of prep for the tidal wave of installations and conversions in the coming weeks 😅

This cheeky chappy was onsite keeping watch during a dismantle job 🥰

We recently brought this Post-95 2 Oven Aga with integrated module out of a house in Stirling and into our restoration workshop. We also found a lost comrade inside the vermiculite presumably from the initial build 🫡

The next stage is to strip it back to bare bones to assess the condition and log it into the stock list. Once it’s ready, it’ll be refurbished with a load of new parts, shotblasted cast iron ovens and a fresh coat of traditional enamel too ✨

Best seat in the place! 🔥 We’ve been a bit quiet on the showroom side of things as progress has slowed down. That being said, this week the family have been busy helping to prep the office for the first Aga install!

Today, we (mostly they):

✅ Cleared the office
✅ Painted cabinet doors
✅ Painted second and third coats on the walls
✅ Installed the sofa into the showroom (in front of the Ironheart)
✅ Painted the office skirting boards and door frames.
✅ Installed the Esse and Everhot cookers into their final positions in the showroom.

We’ve also had the typical avalanche of Monday customer calls and emails, as well as a few deliveries (one of which were the tiles for behind the stove!).

Hopefully this progress carries on, and we can get the office sorted whilst the main showroom progress trundles along.

Before -> After ✨ This shows the extent of our cast iron restoration. We use a specialist shot-blasting machine to blast away the old rust, dirt and grime from the ovens previous life before restoring the rest of the cooker, ready for another generation of memories!

These before and after photos are so satisfying to see and is exactly why we do what we do - keeping the British icons going year after year 🇬🇧🥳
