🪼💚👜🩷THE SQUIDGEY JELLYFISH BAG🩷👜💚🪼

Here's what I've been working on for the lovely .e_chrissie

A little while back, Chrissie posted on her stories asking if anybody knew of someone that could turn this epic giant neon scarf into a tote bag. I replied suggesting that I didn't think it would be too difficult, never expecting that I'd end up taking it on myself. I have never made a bag of any sort before this and it's been quite the labour of love. However, I am so pleased with myself and thankful of Chrissie for putting her trust into me for getting it done.
Squidgey bags are something I've thought about having a go at for a long while now and this has definitely encouraged me to branch out 🛍️
So watch this space as there will definitely be more to come, although the neon jellyfish bag may be quite the one off (there is still plenty of the neon lime boucle fabric left though 🤔)

Of course, I had to make a matching scrunchie to go with the bag and there may just be some other cute accessories to go with it too 🧐

🎀👱🏼‍♀️MY MUSE👱🏼‍♀️🎀

My break away for recovery from surgery is now over. The sewing machine was switched back on yesterday and I can still use it and sew in relatively straight lines 🪡

This morning the first official Squidgey has been made after the teenager comes to me... "Muuuuuummmm" looking at me with her big doe eyes and fluttering her lovely long lashes my way, "please can I have a new bow?"
Now parents will know the stress of a school morning, particularly a Friday one too 🫪 But how could I say no? I'm just too soft when it comes to the Squidgelets 🙈

💜💜SMALL HIATUS💜💜

I don't think I have ever really officially put a pause to all things Squidgey. I've always and fairly often just done a disappearing act on you all so it feels strange to be putting a planned pause on things ⏸️

So today is surgery day and I am super hopeful of a nice speedy recovery so I can jump back into all things Squidgey related really soon. I will definitely be out of action for at least a week to two weeks and after a rough old time lately, I'm already excited to get stuck back into sewing 🪡

Keep your eye on my stories as I will no doubt be popping regular updates and plenty of nonsense waffle there. As always, thank you so very much for all of your amazing and continued support and well wishes 🙏🏼
