Quick heads up!

I'm helping people start their Easter bonnets today at The Harris 🐰🌸

As of 5am (don’t ask 😅), there are: – 6 tickets left for this morning

Yes, we do bonnets on the park on Easter Monday… BUT this one’s a bit different 👀

No wind, more time, and I’ve brought all the nice bits I can’t risk outside (plus my new colouring supplies!)

The dye pot is out! Cooking up something festive.
Not really measured - it's red and a bit of cutch, and a tiny speck of iron, stirred with my indigo covered stirrer. In an aluminium pan. (I shall coin this technique 'intuitive dyeing'. It may exist already).
It’s going to be really, really good, or really bad. 🤔

Just messing in my scrappy book. I make them out of leftovers, junk mail and scrap paper and shove them in my bag with a gluestick. You never know when or where inspiration will strike!

I'm teaching a new art workshop series this Autumn once The Harris reopens. It's 6 weeks of hands-on art, laughter, inky fingers and fizzy, fruity mocktails. It's relaxed, fun and designed to help you relax and explore your creative side.

Happy Summer, friends!

I've been quietly planning (like Baldrick, but less turnip), and I've launched a Thing. Well, 2 Things.

Thing 1 is called Inky Fingers and it's a membership withe lots of benefits, like downloadable collage bits and members only posts.

Thing 2 is called Paper Treasures and 10 people can get real, curated happy mail from my studio every month.

Sneak peek... these birds didn't want to hatch yesterday, but it turns out they just needed another day to incubate. This is the bit where I'm cutting them out and doodling more on the scraps. I think they would make very sweet stickers or additions to art journals.
