✨🎉🤎 HOUSE OF HUDSON IS 1 YEAR OLD TODAY!🤎🎉✨
Wow… where do I even begin?!
Today marks 1 whole year of House of Hudson, and I actually feel emotional and incredibly proud writing this post!🥺
If someone had told me 12 months ago that House of Hudson would be where it is today, I genuinely would not have believed them. What started as a nagging idea constantly going round in my head, has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined.
Long before House of Hudson started, I’ve always had a passion for home decor. Even as a little girl I was always rearranging my room. Now I’m always at home bargains, home sense - buying new home accessories, hunting for bargains and finding beautiful pieces that make a space feel special. So being able to turn something I’ve always loved into a business has honestly been a dream come true.
Over the last year we’ve gone from:
✨Selling from my living room
✨Moving into a container
✨Then into a small office space
✨And now into a much bigger unit
Every move has felt like a huge achievement and a reminder that taking a chance on yourself can sometimes lead to amazing things!🙌🏼
This year has been far from easy. There have been plenty of challenges, stressful days, many moments where I’ve questioned myself, long days sorting orders, sourcing stock, running lives, sorting deliveries, replying to messages and trying to juggle being a mum of three and running a business all at the same time. But every challenge has taught me something and helped me grow. And only recently I’ve completely stepped into myself and realised that there is absolutely no stopping me, no matter what gets thrown at me! And I am incredibly proud of myself for that!
What also gets me, isn’t just the growth of the business, it’s the amazing community that has been built around it. Seeing familiar faces come into the shop, chatting to you all on lives, watching customers become friends and seeing so many people support a small local business means more than you’ll ever know.
A huge thank you has to go to my family and friends too. I’ve never needed them so much before and I have definitely had a cry on all your shoulders at some point!! But also the amount of time you have all invested in helping me will never be something I won’t be thankful for.

Every purchase, no matter how big or small, has helped House of Hudson grow into what it is today.
The support over the last 12 months has genuinely blown me away and I will never take it for granted.
However, I feel like House of Hudson still hasn’t found its feet this year, I am still not settled and I truly believe the best is yet to come! 🤩
There are exciting things happening behind the scenes, plans I’ve been working on, and some big goals I’m determined to achieve before the end of the year. 🤭👀✨
One thing I can promise is that I won’t be standing still. I’m constantly looking at ways to grow, improve and bring you even more of what you love.
From a dream in my living room to where we are today, what a journey it’s been.
