My latest artwork is inspired by the brilliant Energon Universe comics

Featuring:

Jazz – everyone’s favourite smooth-talking Autobot!

Snake Eyes & Timber – G.I. Joe’s legendary ninja and his loyal wolf!

Thunderhawk – Matt Trakker’s iconic flying Camaro from M.A.S.K.!

Three franchises that helped define my childhood, brought together in one action-packed illustration.

Available now as an A4 print on premium 300gsm card.

He-Man & Battle Cat: By the Power of Grayskull!

A little blast of 80s nostalgia from Eternia!

My latest artwork brings together He-Man, Battle Cat and Skeletor in a tribute to one of the most iconic cartoons and toy lines of my childhood.

Available now as an A4 print on premium 300gsm card.

Avengers: Doomsday – The X-Men Are Back!

The mutants are back… and Doom is waiting!

My new Avengers: Doomsday-inspired artwork brings together Doctor Doom, Magneto, Professor X, Cyclops, Beast and Gambit in one suitably epic composition.

As an X-Men fan, I’m very excited to see some of these characters returning to the big screen, so naturally, I had to draw them!

Available now as an A4 print on premium 300gsm card.

I’ll be bringing along a big selection of my original sci-fi, fantasy & pop-culture artwork, including prints, cards, stickers and bags, plus plenty of new artwork along the way.

If you’re attending any of these events, please come over to the stall, say hello and have a browse.

My next few months are looking pretty busy!

Here’s where you can find me and my art in person at upcoming comic cons, sci-fi events and toy fairs through the rest of 2026 and into 2027.

I’ll be bringing along a big selection of my original sci-fi, fantasy & pop-culture artwork, including prints, cards, stickers and bags — plus plenty of new artwork along the way.

I’m also starting a new chapter with my art: putting Colin Coughtrey – Artist & Illustrator front and centre, while still proudly being AKA Cardboard Colin.

If you’re attending any of these events, please come over to the stall, say hello and have a browse. It’s always great meeting fellow nerds in the real world!
