I visited Savill Garden yesterday to photograph the famous rose garden while it's at its peak.... and I wasn't disappointed ⚘️ Such a variety of beautiful specimens each with an amazing scent, especially when you get up close with a macro lens 📸🌹

However, some of my favourite discoveries were the ones I wasn't expecting. From martagon lilies hidden amongst the grasses, orchids scattered through the meadows, vibrant Birds of Paradise in the greenhouse and beautiful cottage-style borders bursting with colour, there was something to catch my eye around every corner 🏵🌺

One of the things I love most about photographing nature is how often it sparks conversations. Several visitors stopped to chat about the flowers with me and point me towards hidden gems I might otherwise have missed!

These are a few of my favourite moments from a wonderful June visit.

Just enjoying a few moments of peony heaven in my garden 🌸😇 The folds of the peony flower are SO amazing, they remain one of my favourite flowers to capture in macro 📸 As always in nature though, beauty is fleeting as they only last a few weeks 😔

Anyone else a peony lover? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Chelsea & Belgravia in Bloom 2026 🌸🩷📸 This has been on my bucket list for a few years - the FREE floral displays around the beautiful streets of Chelsea & Belgravia during Chelsa Flower Show week 🏵 Thank you for the yearly reminder how amazing it is - I finally made it! ❤️

As seen up close in true Tangle&Bloom style - observing the stunning use of flowers that make up these dramatic displays 🌺 My highlight has to be the tribute to Sir David Attenborough on his 100th birthday 🦍

I chose the busiest and hottest day of the year to go though - Friday afternoon! Next year I'm heading there early on the Monday! 🤣 Some of the flowers were definitely past their best and wilting a bit by the Friday.
