Another bespoke shade heading out of the studio today 💡

Mustard velvet exterior with William Morris sage willow leaves cotton interior,
Made as a standard steep empire lampshade, for a top fitting floor lamp,

Our lovely customer, Susan, asked if we could customise our standard mustard velvet steep empire shade, with a patterned interior,
As the plan was to use this on her lamp, above a cosy reading nook 🩷

An absolute pleasure to have made these wonderful shades for &

Rachel at makes the most wonderful Lino printed designs 🩷
I was lucky enough to be able to work with these 2 lovely prints that Rachel has transferred to a linen fabric for us to work with 🙌🏼

Using our champagne lining & creating 60cm tall cylindrical shades to really emphasise & showcase the designs 🥰

It’s been a long week, and was lovely to finish it off with a wholesale order for Paul at 🩷
We can’t wait to see which lamps these get paired with 😍

2026 has been a 🎢🎢🎢 so far

Getting back into the swing of social media after an unintentionally long break after Christmas 🙈

There is a heck of a lot going on at the minute and I’m here for the ride 😂

We have had a massive influx of orders since around August time, which I’m forever so very grateful 💙

Plus we’re looking for a new studio space, onwards & upwards as they say 😉

It all started with a lamp…

Still obsessing over this vintage ceramic wiggle lamp of my lovely client 💙

Little bit of the background of how we helped design the perfect shade for her amazing lamp,

Initial issue was needing to hide the fitting of this gorgeous ceramic base,
By making a custom frame, recessed 6.5cm into the bottom of this shade we were able to achieve a hidden fitting with ease,
Fabric samples were sent and finalised, along with choosing a size that would compliment the size and shape ☺️
& here we have the finished shade in all its glory perched upon this amazing lamp 😍

Have been on the hunt for a lamp like this ever since 😂

All Christmas orders have been fulfilled 🥳🥳
There’s still a few bits needed to be done before clocking out, but we made it,

All those late nights and weekends have been worth it & now we can finally rest 🙌🏼🎄
