Ticcy Tree Art I got diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome when I was 21 so I had to relearn to draw all over again with 'tics'. My work consists of scribbles and different shapes.

My tics basically creates my artwork! INSTAGRAM - ticcytreeart
TIKTOK - ticcytreeart I have tourettes which is neurological condition which affects the brain and the nervous system causing me to have involuntary movements and words/sounds/phrases. Because of my tourettes I have had to change the way I create my images so I came up with a scribble style just incase if i do tic while I work, if pen goes to paper it doesn't look like I have made a mistake.

It's Tourettes Awareness month!
STRONG LANGUAGE!
I have coprolalia which is the swearing side of tourettes, not everyone with Tourettes has this!
It's hard condition to live with but it has made me the person I am today and made me stronger than I ever thought I was but we still do have a long way to go to raise awareness. Tourettes is a part of us but it doesn't define who we are!

I am heartbroken by the comments I am seeing following on from the BAFTAS.
Tourettes is not a true representation of who we are, though what was said was awful, we truly are so upset when our tics offend people and is something we do not intend to do. This is a neurological condition that makes us have INVOLUNTARY tics. People of the tourettes community have explained it much better than I can and I just hope that people carry on educating themselves about Tourettes Syndrome and I urge everyone to watch the film 'i swear' ❤️
