This order from The Golden Lion Pub Fareham was a bit of a challenge to say the least ! A 5ft X 3ft pride flag personalised with the pub name and some pride lanyards personalised with the pub name too. As much as I wanted to throw this out of the window, and even though the flag took me the course of two days to finish I can safely say it actually turned out to be worth it. (Does not mean to say I'll be making another flag!) ..... The lanyards are available for anyone, personalised how you wish.

This order is now on its way ready for their pride event at the weekend 🏳️‍🌈

What an absolute pleasure as always making custom frames for a repeat customer. This year's challenge she wanted a photo in a larger frame with the beautiful wording that she provided. This was for a gift, so of course I had to go that bit further. Making the picture quality much higher, sharpening it and making it pop! Finding the perfect font type in my design space is always a challenge in itself 😂. I felt it needed that extra sparkle so glittery gold stars it was.

Let’s have a little real talk about the price of handmade. 💭

​I often hear, "I love this, but I could get something similar cheaper at the shop." And you’re right you probably could find a mass produced version for less.
But here is the difference:
​When you buy from a big retailer, your money goes into a corporate bottom line. When you buy from a small, handmade business, you’re paying for the real human time behind it.

​These affirmation cards for my packaging? That’s 2 hours of design time alone, before a single sheet of paper is even printed or cut. Those hours are "unpaid" in the traditional sense, but they are essential to the quality and care I want you to feel when you open your parcel.

​Handmade items are made by people, not machines. They are created with love, packed with care, and dreamed into existence by someone who actually cares about their craft. Thank you for valuing that. Thank you for supporting the person behind the product. 🤍

I am finally getting around to setting up a brand new website, sorting out card payments for my upcoming craft fairs, and getting the pricing sorted for lots of exciting things!

As part of the big glow up, I'm bringing back my reusable cleansing pads but this time they are round, made with super soft bamboo towelling, and come in fun custom themes! 🫧I'm still going to do the square make up remover ones as they are perfect for removing make up etc, these rounds are ideal for a quick cleanse.

I’ve also been sewing these lovely linen drawstring bags to keep them in, and I need your help with a quick question: Should I sell the pads on their own and have the handmade bag as an optional extra? Or should I just include the beautiful linen bag with every single order to make it a premium, complete little set? 🧺

Calling all Kindle readers! 📢✨

​You know I love making cozy sleeves to protect your paperbacks, but I’ve been wanting to cater to the digital reading community, too! 📱💻

​After a bit of plotting, prototyping (and maybe a little bit of quality time with my seam ripper behind the scenes... 🫣), the Pinecone & Robin Kindle sleeve is officially ready! 🧵🧁

​This little beauty features the same thick, squishy quilting you love from my book sleeves, but it's specifically sized to fit Standard Kindles and Kindle Paperwhites like an absolute glove. No more scratches or screen bumps when you throw it in your bag!

​I'm so happy with how this cupcake prototype turned out with the "PINECONE & ROBIN" label. Now that the template is perfected, I'm ready to batch-cut some more.

🚨 THE BIG SECRET IS OUT (and yes, I’m still alive!) 🚨

Hello lovely people! I know I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately, but I promise I haven’t been swallowed whole by a mountain of fabric... though it was a close call. 🧵✂️

I have been secretly working away like an absolute demon because... I am doing my FIRST EVER CRAFT FAIR! 🎉

Mark your calendars for the end of the month because on Saturday, June 27th, I’ll be setting up my very first stall at The Golden Lion pub in Fareham! 🦁🍻

The amazing folks at The Golden Lion are hosting the whole thing to raise money for Rowans Hospice, which is a truly wonderful cause. So if you’re local, you absolutely have to come on down, grab a refreshing drink from the bar, enjoy the sunshine (fingers crossed for a lush day!), and browse some incredible unique bits from a whole room full of talented local crafters.

🧠 The ADHD Brain vs. The Stall Space:

Now, if you know me, you know my ADHD brain likes to hyperfixate on making all the things 😂. But since I only have one table and two hands, I’m mainly sticking to my sewn items for this first fair. I figure once people get to know my teeny tiny business, I can slowly unleash the full, chaotic variety of everything else I love to create!

Right now, my sewing machine has been churning out a LOT of very bookish themed items. 📚✨ I’ve been making plenty of book sleeves, and I’m currently debating whether to whip up a few Kindle sleeves too what do we think? Would you guys use them?

🐝 Happy World Bee Day! 🐝
It turns out my sewing table knew exactly what day it was today! 🤪 It’s a total scrap fabric day in the studio today—I have plenty of odds and ends filling up my basket, so I figured let's get creating and use them up!

While digging through, I uncovered what I think is the absolute last of this gorgeous bee fabric. Since this print is now discontinued, whatever comes off the machine today is going to be a total one-of-a-kind, limited-edition make! 😍

I’m currently playing around with some handy little fabric cord wraps to stop your phone chargers from tangling in your bag, alongside a few other bits. 📱🔌

I’ll be hovering around the sewing machine and the Cricut all afternoon getting these sorted. Keep your eyes peeled to see how the final bits look!
