When I bought a batch of wood from a retiring woodturner it came with a load of pen blanks. I don’t know how to make pens. So I planed them straight, glued them together and made a teapot trivet.

Cocobolo is from Central America / Mexico. It’s a true rosewood and although toxic to turn, it can produce beautiful grain patterns.
