💕 Sorry I’ve been a little quiet on here lately! 💕

Between work, family, house moves and personal things and just life in general, things have been a little hectic! Sometimes life just gets in the way, and there really aren’t enough hours in the day!

But amongst all the chaos, I had the absolute honour of creating something very special… my Gran’s 80th birthday cake! 🎂💗

This was only my THIRD two-tier cake, and believe me, there were definitely moments where I was questioning my life choices and wondering why I do this to myself! 🤣😭 But we got there in the end, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! Stencils are still the bane of my bloody life.

I’ve only been doing this little cake thingy for just over a year now, and in that time I’ve had the pleasure of making my Grandad’s 80th birthday cake, my grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary cake, and now my Gran’s 80th! ❤️

Being able to create something special for the people I love and play a little part in their biggest milestones honestly means the world to me. These are the moments that make all the stress, late nights and buttercream breakdowns worth it! … (debatable)

And I think we can all agree that I’ve officially secured my place as the favourite grandchild… 💅

Thank you all for sticking around, even when I’m a little quiet! I’m still here, still baking and still occasionally questioning my sanity.

Chocolate lovers… this one is for YOU.

Fudgy, gooey homemade chocolate brownies loaded with chocolate and chocolate spread, drizzled with milk chocolate and finished with even more of your fave chocolate on top (ripple,wispsa,milky bar, twirl). Because there’s no such thing as too much chocolate! 🤤

Absolutely LOVE this one! 😍 I’m a major geek one would say so I was all over it 🤣

This was a 6-inch, 2-layer chocolate cake filled with a delicious chocolate orange filling (such a good combo and my first!).

PSA because I’ve had an absolute nightmare!

I’ve got a new phone and it’s been nothing but chaos! I’ve lost all my messages and it keeps logging me out “for security reasons” every five minutes. 😭

So if you’ve messaged and I’ve not replied, please don’t think I’m ignoring you! I’ve genuinely been fighting for my life trying to get this phone to behave.

I’m definitely not an iPhone girly… I miss my Pixel already.
