HAVE YOU EVER WANTED TO LEARN FLORISTRY?

Our next Floristry Foundations course starts 13th October, and we have a few places still available.

Designed especially for complete beginners, this relaxed three-week course is the perfect opportunity to spend some time being creative, surrounded by beautiful seasonal flowers.

Over three sessions, you’ll learn how to create:

💐 A professional hand-tied bouquet
🌿 A natural vase arrangement
🌸 A seasonal table centrepiece

We’ll teach you the techniques florists use every day – from conditioning and choosing flowers to creating shape, balance, movement and beautiful colour combinations.

Everything is included: gorgeous fresh flowers, foliage, materials, use of our floristry tools and step-by-step tuition.

And, of course, there’ll be a glass of fizz waiting for you on arrival. 🥂

You’ll take home a beautiful arrangement after every session – along with lots of new skills and, hopefully, a new-found love of floristry.

Calling budding content creators… 🌿

We’d love to find someone creative to come behind the scenes at Rory & Rose and help us capture more of what we do.

From buckets of beautiful seasonal flowers and designs coming together, to our floral workshops, courses and video tutorials — there’s so much happening that we’d love to share more of.

We’re looking for someone with a natural eye for beautiful, authentic content who enjoys creating Reels, short-form video and photography and would like the opportunity to develop their portfolio alongside a creative floral brand.

This isn’t a full-time or regular role. It would be ad hoc, particularly around workshops, courses and other lovely things we have happening throughout the year.

We have a modest budget, so this could be a great fit for someone who is starting out or looking to build their content portfolio and would enjoy growing creatively with us.

You don’t need to know about flowers — that bit we can teach you! We’re much more interested in finding someone with a great eye, creative ideas and a feel for the Rory & Rose aesthetic.

A little workshop update from us 🍂

We’ve been a little quiet on the workshop front over the summer as we’ve been busy flowering lots of gorgeous weddings — and we’re not quite finished yet, with another four still to flower through September, October and November.

But as we move into autumn, we’re also looking ahead to a brilliant season of workshops and we can’t wait to get started again.

A huge thank you to everyone who has already booked. Our first Autumn Wreath Workshop is now FULL, and some of our Christmas dates are getting very close too, so we thought it was time for a little availability update…

10 years today without Mum. ❤️

It’s hard to believe a whole decade has passed.

Mum was one of the most courageous and inspiring people I’ve ever known. She had such a can-do attitude to life — strong, determined, caring and always encouraging us to keep going.

She spent 35 years as a nurse, dedicating so much of her life to caring for others. That said so much about the person she was — compassionate, hardworking and always there when someone needed her. But above everything else, she loved her family so very much.

I wish she could see Holly and Freddie growing up and the people they are becoming. I wish she could see where life has taken us.

She died just before I began my journey into floristry, and I often think about how much she would have loved what we are doing today. I know she would have been cheering us on, interested in every little detail and probably offering plenty of ideas along the way! 🌸

So today, alongside missing her terribly, I’m remembering everything she taught me — be courageous, believe you can, care about people and make the most of the life you have.

And if you’re lucky enough to still have your Mum, treasure those ordinary moments. Spend the time. Take the photos. Have the conversations. Laugh together. Make the memories.

Because one day, those seemingly ordinary moments become the most precious ones of all.

10 years, Mum. So much has happened, and I so wish you were here to see it.

Forever loved. Forever missed. ❤️

We’re so excited to be bringing the Rory & Rose Luxury Christmas Wreath Workshop experience to the Clubhouse at Sandbach RUFC this Christmas!

We’ll be taking over the Symphony Suite for three wonderfully festive workshops filled with fresh seasonal foliage, gorgeous textures, Christmas creativity and plenty of festive cheer.

On arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a warming glass of mulled wine, followed by an individual festive platter prepared by Andy of Symphony Catering, featuring a selection of cheeses, savouries, crackers, fruit, pickles and chutney.

Then it’s time for the main event… wreath making! 🌿

We’ll guide you step by step as you create your own beautiful luxury Christmas wreath using an abundance of fresh seasonal foliage, flowers and natural textures — and you’ll take your finished wreath home ready to hang proudly on your door.

And because bookings have already started coming in, we’ve added a NEW Friday afternoon date! ✨

Yesterday, we had the privilege of creating the flowers for Lauren & Will’s beautiful wedding at the breathtaking Hawkstone Hall. 🤍

Inspired by the romance of an English country garden, we designed a collection of timeless white and green florals that complemented the elegance of the venue perfectly.

From garden-gathered urns and an abundant floral meadow to delicate staircase flowers and bud vases, every detail was thoughtfully designed to create a soft, romantic atmosphere throughout the day.

These florals were created as part of Butterfly Road, and it was a joy to see the vision come to life for such a wonderful couple.

Congratulations, Lauren & Will. Thank you for letting us be part of such a special day. Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness. 🤍

There’s a moment, before the guests arrive, when a beautifully dressed room feels almost still. It’s always one of my favourite moments.

For this floral story at Hawkstone Hall, every design was created to celebrate the beauty of the ballroom. From the abundant mantelpiece to our signature floral bowls and meadow arrangements, each piece was designed to bring softness, movement and a sense of an English garden into this magnificent space.

The meadow arrangements will always have my heart. Individually designed, no two are ever quite the same, they invite you to look a little closer and discover something different from every angle.

Watching the ballroom come together, with every floral design finding its place, is a reminder that flowers do so much more than decorate a room. They shape the atmosphere, tell a story and create a feeling that stays long after the day has ended.

🌸 What a fabulous day! 🌸

Today saw me hosting not one, but two wonderful workshops, and it was such a pleasure to return to Arighi Bianchi to share my love of floral design.

This morning, I guided a lovely group of ladies through the process of creating a floral bowl arrangement. Watching each design take shape and seeing everyone’s creativity shine through was an absolute joy.

This evening, it was time for a Rory & Rose At Home workshop. Friends and colleagues gathered at Fay’s beautiful home to learn how to create their own spiral hand-tied bouquets. There was a definite ta-da! moment when everyone realised their bouquets could stand beautifully on their own! 💐✨

And the highlights beyond the flowers? Well, it could have been Fay’s incredible beef brisket, or perhaps her giant pavlova… but if I’m honest, the real star of the show was Kara — the family’s gorgeous new ruby Cocker Spaniel puppy, who completely stole everyone’s hearts. 🐶❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined me today, both at Arighi Bianchi and at Fay’s home. Thank you for your enthusiasm, laughter and willingness to give something new a go. Days like today are exactly why I love what I do.

This week, I’m looking forward to heading over to Bollington to work with an amazing team of NHS workers, teaching them how to create a beautiful hand-tied bouquet. Their chosen colour palette? Pastels… and I have to say, it’s one of my favourites too. 💕
