Just a quick hello everybody. It took over 3 days to move everything into the moho and then out to one of our favourite local spots to get back into the swing of things. We've had little to no signal for 3 days but headed into town for supplies so I thought I'd just let you all know I haven't disappeared 😀 I should be able to get back into the swing of things now and carry on felting 🥰🤗xx

I may be a bit quiet for the next few days as I'm packing the motorhome and we're heading North to our favourite wild places. My wool stash seems to have expanded significantly and I'm having to get creative fitting eveything in ☺️

Frequent handling of the fur on your new wooly companion will result in felting which is what wool naturally does. Here's how to very gently use the felting needle tip by combing through the fur. I send with each creation or something similar to rearrange how your collies fur lies to your personal preference. Be aware each time you do this some loose wool will shed.
Please don't stab yourself it really hurts 🥺🤭

Latest progress on Holly. All her fur is on and I've been trimming it into submission. Still got a ways to go on her white side, she reminds me a little of candy floss in places. I knew she was going to turn out lovely, I'm pleased with her so far. Next it's sorting out the base for her 🤗

Getting near to putting Holly on her base as I don't want to flatten all that beautiful fur whilst handling her when adding the last bits and trimming her. A lot of the fur on her back end is Holly's own fur blended with some merino and some bamboo fibers for shine. I did manage to add a tiny bit if her brown hair to the bum spot and her ear tufts but it's quite wirey and wants to do its own thing 🤗
