A loyal customer of mine brought in a handmade wooden clock mount sadly I couldn't do anything with the movement it had completely worn out but they asked me if I could use the wooden handmade mount and Incorporated somehow with a fob watch display so this is what I come up with. The old wooden clock Mount was made by my customers grandfather and the fob watch belong to a treasured uncle both no longer with us so the two combined a tribute from my customer and his wife to his grandfather and her home her uncle many years past .
This is what I come up with I hope you like it

The progression for this week I'm really happy the way things are going it's true beauty is now revealing itself . The work is a little bit painstaking but it is potentially bring in a clock back from the dead certainly a clock that look like it had come from a horror movie. I will continue to show my progression with the restoration of this beautiful clock

Taken just yesterday as you can see it is progressing nicely I'm sure the gentleman who originally restored this clock during the first or second world war would be happy with the work so far I no I am this restoration work is carried out by me nothing is sent away for repair everything is repaired and restored here at Tick Tock Terry's & son at Scunthorpe
