Big Shop Tuesday didn’t happen so it was another “Bits & Bobs Breakfast!” 🍳

One little tip, aside from finishing your omelette under the grill add a pinch of tarragon - it adds a light freshness to it 😉

Yes, I’m still buggering about with the blender! 😂

These are spiced up chicken pinwheels and they are/were absolutely delicious ❤️

Blended peppers, chilli, garlic, ginger, onions with Cajun, harissa, smoked paprika and diced chicken leg meat.

Rolled in smoked streaky bacon and baked in the oven for 30 minutes then served with herby chips and a plethora of dippy bits! 😍

Stunning bit of grub ❤️

I know it’s not massive amounts - but look at the difference in cost between chicken legs and skinless, boneless chicken thighs when you’re next in the shops 👀

A simple bit of butchery skill can end up saving you a fair few quid! 😊

Just find the thigh bone, cut along and under it. Then cut through the joint and remove it.

Then repeat on the shin part.

Simple - and you’ve then got a massive amount of leg meat to play with 😊

Another Facebook flashback 💥

On a holiday in the Canary Islands on a fishing trip we caught and cooked a tuna on the boat ⛴️ 🐟

It was simply cut up in chunks and fried in butter with some onions and garlic 🧄

And it tasted incredible 😳

Unfortunately we don’t get tuna off the Island - but we do get mackerel which is a bloody good substitute! 🐟

Considering the incredible restaurants, places and countries the wife has eaten previously when she says “that’s one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten” is quite a compliment! ❤️

Monkfish, garlic butter and camambert wrapped in bacon, served with a spring onion and garlic new potatoes crush with a creamy leek and whole grain mustard sauce 😊

Not the prettiest dish but it was certainly flavoursome 😊
