Jo Badger Textiles A little shop full of what we love creating ❤️ I use the best quality products I can source, preferably as locally as possible.

My craft involves different aspects of fibre and fabric production by hand, encompassing fibre preperation, dyeing, spinning, weaving and felting. I tend to focus on the processes almost as much as the finished item or garment, but it is always rewarding to hear back from my customers and find out what they have been creating.

I've been busy in the shop this week sewing away.
Handmade here at Elsecar Heritage Centre, 100% cotton that I have pre-shrunk prior to sewing.
If you pop in over the bank holiday or half-term you will probably find me under a mountain of fabric 😅

I have a lovely little range in the Craft Centre, perfect for summer 🌞🏝️
Can be machine washed at 30 and tumble dried.

Just updated the website with these hand dyed 200g skeins of pencil roving, or extra chunky yarn. There's 100% Falkland or Cheviot wool. I knit a scarf from one Skein on 12mm needles, casting on 15st and working garter stitch until the end of the yarn. Makes a great quick knit! ❤️
