✨ Bathroom Refresh Complete ✨

This room took a lot more than just a coat of paint! The walls had been previously coated with a badly applied, chalky white emulsion, leaving a rough texture and an unstable surface.

Preparation is everything 👌

✔️ Thorough sanding to remove the rough finish
✔️ Sealed and stabilised using Zinsser Gardz to create a solid, sound base
✔️ Finished with Zinsser Perma-White Matt – perfect for high-moisture environments like bathrooms

The result? A beautifully smooth, crisp white finish that's hard-wearing, moisture resistant, and contains mould-resistant technology to help keep the room looking fresh for years to come.

🤍 When working with darker tiles and black fixtures, keeping the walls bright white creates contrast, reflects light around the room, and gives a clean, luxury hotel feel.

We used Farrow & Ball “Elephant’s Breath” — the perfect warm greige — to complement the beautiful traditional patterned tiles and create a timeless, sophisticated finish. Keeping the upper walls crisp white helped bounce light around the room while creating contrast against the neutral panelling for that clean, luxurious feel

Finished with a traditional high-level WC and classic basin… ultimate understated elegance 🖤

From cold, drab grey stained walls to a calm, light-filled retreat ✨🎨

My customer was set on green, and together we chose the perfect shade — Farrow & Ball Mizzle. A beautifully soft grey-green that feels calming without overpowering the space.

This north-facing room now feels brighter, warmer and so much more inviting thanks to colour drenching the walls, ceiling and those angled architectural details.

💡 Painting the angled ceiling in the same tone helps blur harsh lines, opening up the space and making the room feel bigger, more cohesive and welcoming.

💡 For north-facing rooms, avoid cold flat greys. Soft greens with warmth and depth can create a calmer atmosphere while still reflecting light beautifully.

💡 Colour drenching also helps awkward ceilings and corners feel intentional and seamless.

This beautiful living space was all about creating a soft, cohesive feel that works perfectly with the client’s new sofa and wood flooring ✨

I worked closely with the customer to find the perfect shade—and we landed on Farrow & Ball ‘Skimming Stone’ for both the walls and panelling. The result? A warm, elegant neutral that feels peaceful, inviting, and effortlessly high-end 🤍

Paired with a crisp white ceiling and fresh white woodwork, it really lifts the space while keeping everything light and balanced.

This beautiful banister was all about the prep. It had been previously painted with visible brush marks, thick gloss and drips — so it needed careful preparation to get that flawless finish. ✨

Fully sanded using a dustless sanding system, two coats of primer applied, and finished in Benjamin Moore Scuff-X Wood Paint in a perfect satin white.

Durable. Scratch-resistant. And ideal for high-traffic areas like staircases ✨

We’re now pairing it with a beautiful neutral on the walls to complement the carpet and create contrast against the crisp white woodwork for a stylish, elegant and homely feel.
