Hi all, I hope you are all having a good week.
It’s half term, the kids are off school so I haven’t had much time to work on my art but I have managed to get a few flowers from the garden in the press 🌸😁

Wild hops, they are so pretty and have pressed wonderfully. I think I may use them in a framed piece. 🤔

Hi all, Happy Friday!

My dahlias I put in the press a few weeks ago are out! One has press much better than the other probably because of the age of the flower when I picked it.
I find it fascinating how the colours change with some flowers during pressing and with other flowers they don’t change at all. 🧐
This dahlia has certainly changed colour to a much darker burnt orange. 🍊 I look forward to creating something new with this beautiful flower.
