The weekend might be just around the corner, but the studio hustle doesn't stop! Today has been a little delivery day for us, which means Sean has been on serious unboxing duty.

We are restocking all of our studio essentials today - from fresh wicks to a giant new supply of our eco-friendly packing peanuts and shipping boxes. Getting everything organized and onto the shelves is always so satisfying, and it means we are fully prepped and ready for our next big making sessions.

There's a lot of hard work that goes on behind the scenes before the candles even get poured, and we wouldn't change it for the world.

We are right in the thick of a massive making week, and the Thursday fatigue is definitely trying to sneak in! But we have a few secrets up our aprons to keep the momentum going.

​Today, we’re getting through the rush thanks to three very specific things:

​The ultimate mood setters: A freshly lit candle (or two!) flickering away to make the workspace feel cosy. 🕯️

​The essential fuel: A hot coffee to power us through the packaging and pouring. ☕️

​The best reward: The entire studio smelling exactly like a fresh, warm bakery thanks to this latest batch of candles! 🥐🍪

​Honestly, that last one makes all the hard work worth it.

Studio diary: Day 847 🌧️✨🕯️

A rainy Tuesday in Southport called for a massive pouring day in the studio.

There is something so therapeutic about the sound of rain against the roof while the wax melters are on and the studio is warm. Today was all about prepping a fresh batch of jars, centering wicks, and getting some of your absolute favourite blends poured.

Honestly, even on the greyest days, there’s nowhere else we’d rather be.

Forget ghosts and ghouls - if you want to truly terrify a candle maker, just show them a mushroomed wick or mention the word "paraffin"! 😅

We're having a bit of fun in the studio today breaking down our ultimate top 5 horror movies, candle edition. From the absolute dread of rising glass prices to that tiny, anxious voice in our heads when someone calls a scent a "flavour" (please don't eat them! 🙏🍍🥥), the struggle is very real.

But honestly, if there's one thing that truly haunts us, it's a beautifully hand-poured candle being burned without that wick trim. ✂️ Consider this your friendly, loving reminder to snip those wicks before you light up tonight!

The June weather might be giving us classic rainy day vibes, but we are keeping it as bright and warm as possible inside the studio today!

We've had a busy mid-week rush over here. We've been busy top-up pouring a fresh batch of clear glass jars, unloading what feels like endless deliveries, and labeling up your latest orders ready to go out.

There's honestly nothing better than the smell of warm wax melting while the rain beats down outside.

Slow evenings & the best company are all you really need sometimes 🥰🕯️

After a wonderful, busy week of making and shipping your lovely orders, we have been relaxing at home and now we are ready for a slow Sunday evening.

There’s nothing quite like the ritual of lighting an old favourite 'An Evening in the Cottage' and just curling up on the sofa and unwind before a brand new week begins. It’s all about those quiet, cosy moments that make a house feel like home.

It is finally here and it smells like summer! 🍋 ☀️

Our Zesty Lemon Drizzle Loaf candle and wax melts are welcoming in June with it's fresh and zesty scent making it a perfect choice this summer within your home! 🥰

We are off to enjoy a cold ice tea and maybe a little slice of lemon drizzle, obviously can't forget to light our new candle at home 😉

The scent of June is coming today at 6pm! 🍋 🕯️

This scent is a delicious blend of lemon and vanilla making it a fresh and citrus scent for June! We couldn't wait to launch June's scent of the month as one of our favourite things to eat during summer is this delicious loaf cake, but we do have to advise, this scent smells delicious, but don't eat it, we know it might be tempting! 😂

Now that all the photo shoots are over we are off to enjoy a slice of that delicious lemon drizzle with a coffee! See you at 6pm!

The scent of June is finally being revealed!

Our scent of June is Zesty Lemon Drizzle Loaf 🍋

A fresh and summery scent straight from the cottage kitchen! This has been a scent me and Simona have been thinking about for a while now and since the sun is out and it's finally getting warmer, we couldn't wait to share it!

Launching tomorrow at 6pm!

☀️📚🕯️With the summer sun outside being far too hot for us to handle, there are just some days you just need to stay at home where it's a little cooler and snuggle up with a book, candle and a glass of cold ice tea!

Our cosy library nook candle is the perfect edition to our little reading area with notes of to***co, cedarwood, sandalwood, patchouli, amber & musk, it sets the reading mood perfectly!
