Been very busy recently that I’ve now got a back log of pictures form jobs that I haven’t posted 😅

So here’s a photo of a herringbone stairs and landing I completed a few weeks back. All new doorbars and a 11mm underlay. The herringbone pattern is very popular and hard wearing but the underlay gives that nice comfort 👌🏻

The last one was a quick bedroom I fitted after the stairs and landing. New carpet and underlay for a quick turnaround 😁

Carpet repairs!

As like most the time, a cat has decided to try and get under the door by ripping the carpet up! Thankfully I was able to repair this customers carpet. A few other doorways had been attacked by the cat so they required a trim and re stretch!

For the repair, I had to take a piece of carpet from under the customers bed, then patch that piece with a similar sample from which I had in the van.
The patch went amazing using my KoolGlide and has given the carpet years more life! Keep your eyes peeled for a big repair job next week 👀

Well, that’s this weeks work done! 70+sqm of lvt fitting in a new build. After a long day Monday grinding the floor and screeding, I was back at it Wednesday fitting brand new lvt. This product is Impact .55 LVT from TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring. Lovely product to fit and looks great down 👌🏻

Fitted on ARDEX UK CL screed and Ardex 195high temperature adhesive.

Here’s some photos of the finished job I did a screed time lapse on. Polyflor Ltd Colonia School House Oak laid on the 45 angle with a one plank border and design strip. Looks absolutely mega!

The same week I also completed 3 bedrooms for the customer in likewisefloors_ Home Twist.

Overall a great outcome and a very happy customer!

A big screed in St Ives yesterday! Took a lot of working having to grind the floor in preparation for the screed. Also blew up Henry the Hoover 😢

But the screed went down really well and very happy with it! Back Wednesday to start installing the new LVT. Finished the day off with a little under stairs cupboard in carpet 😁

I’ve now got a back log of posts as I keep forgetting to post them as I’m so busy 😅 keep your eyes peeled for some really nice jobs 👌🏻

A day of repair work!

Started the day with a vinyl repair. Original installer used double sided tape to secure the vinyl and join. This of course failed. So I went in and took up a load of it and then re cut the joins and put a new piece in and fully bonded it.

Second repair job was because of a cat, as always!😅 a cat had pulled the carpet out of 3 doorways. I went in to re stretch 2 of them and had to fully repair one doorway. This meant taking a piece from under the bed and using this piece to join to existing carpet and put a new close matching piece in under the bed.

All went well and another happy customer! Message me for any repair work. Free estimates 👌🏻

Here’s a job I’ve been doing over the last couple of days.

Polyflor Ltd Colonia lvt laid on the 45 degree angle in a lounge and hallway! Looks unreal!😍 was hard work screeding on a hot day and the prep work the next day was quite intense 😅 but got there in the end and the end product looks great!

Also managed to squeeze in a last minute job which the customer supplied the vinyl for. More happy customers!
