🏺The Animals of the Trent and Mersey Canal and River.🎨
πŸŽ₯ Mini Series, Street Art.art has created a masterpiece. This mural is a real thing of beauty with thanks to . It sits in an area of Stoke running adjacent to Goods Yard, the huge building by and the canal. It was a funny chance meeting that Tom himself turned up in the sunshine to finish the kingfisher after picking up some last minute supplies from .stoke which keeps artists going from the heart of Longton Market. These animals are all so striking. I love a kingfisher as you all know, but I feel torn over my fave. The feathers on the Swan are exceptional. The owl's characterful face is 😍... which is your favourite? I'd love to know. This is another big tick for colour, art, and artist expression in the city. I love Stoke! And this pink and blue palette is so representative of the skies we've been enjoying lately.
I hope you all liked seeing this one, and the pot was alright wasn't it?! πŸ˜ƒ

🏺 When Bottle Kiln Pottery met Kelvin the Kiln 🫢🏻. It's clear for all to see, I love a bottle kiln don't I?! They represent so much, not only for the history of the city and it's depth of heritage, but that from the hands of ANYONE, a marvellous idea can step out of a sketch on a page, in to the real world, cooked by fire. I recommend anyone to do their best to be creative in life. Pick up a pencil, pen, paint brush, bag of clay, crochet or sewing kit, spray can, a screen printer, a camera, whatever method you favour... and show all the young ones out there that you can do cool stuff.
I did that exact thing just over a year ago. And it's taken someone like me in to a very nice space in life. I wish I'd kept my art going after 6th form, but I was always told in school that we all had to go and get a 'real job'. So the more voices we can hear from to guide us at a young age the better really. Do what makes you happy and feeds your soul I guess is my thought of the day. Have a lovely one whatever you're up to. If ever you want to dip your toe in to a creative world and don't know where to start please DM me. I can hopefully point you in the right direction as I've met some lovely people in each one of these skill niches.

πŸ“Έ Swipe for some still snaps of my latest trip out to see the 'Stoke Town Mural' painted by Tom Edwards . Located in a fab spot in Stoke near the Minster itself and resting place of Josiah Wedgwood. It features the culture and people of the area, uncovering some hidden stories I didn't know beforehand. The Elephant however, still evaded me... does anybody know the significance, I'd love to find out, and if you don't know please tag a friend you think is an encyclopedia because not even google has given me a certain explanation. Looking forward to the next one already πŸ˜πŸ™ŒπŸ».

🏺'Stoke Town Mosaic'🎨
Stoke-on-Trent.
πŸ“½ Mini Series, 'Street Art' ✨️
A Tomas Edwards piece, this huuuuuge mural sits in the view of Stoke Minster (also the resting ground of the famous Josiah Wedgwood), and celebrates the industry, people and culture of the city. I really enjyoed throwing this little vase, the colour palette behind me was so vibrant. It was nice to see how many people cane to sit on the benches for their lunch breaks, looking up at it. It was quite a windy day but the sun shining through felt lovely. I hope you all enjoy seeing this one.

🏺'Have a nice day', 'Bird of Prey' & some fantastic 'Pottery Workers'. 🎨
πŸ“½Mini Series - Street Art.
What a wonderful trio up Pall Mall in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. I felt lucky to stumble across not one or two but THREE murals each on an individual wall of thia building beside the Regent Theatre. Contrasting styles and I enjoyed them all! I hope you like seeing these as much as me, and I managed to throw quite a sweet little frilly vase. Looking forward to that being fired and decorated.
Shout outs to;
for the smiley faceart for the bird
for the workers
Thank you all for what you do for the city and it's vibrancy, you should all be so thoroughly proud.
