The shepherd’s hut is starting to take shape… 👀

After completing the chassis with Haywood Engineering, we’ve now got the framework up—and seeing the structure standing for the first time makes the whole project feel very real.

Every stage of this build is being carefully crafted, with a focus on strong materials, clean detail, and building something made to last for years to come.

There’s still a long way to go, but the vision is coming together piece by piece 🔨

We’ll keep sharing the progress as the build moves forward—from framework to cladding, interior details, and the finished hut itself.

Something new is in the works… 👀

We’ve started a very special project here at Knots & Ore—a handcrafted shepherd’s hut, designed and built right here in the Highlands.

Every piece we create starts with good materials and proper craftsmanship, and for this build we’ve teamed up with Haywood Engineering to bring the structure to life from the ground up.

The chassis is now complete (and it’s a solid one 🔧), which means we can start shaping the hut into something really special.

We’ll be sharing the full journey as it comes together—from raw steel to a finished space.
