6 months of work all wrapped up into one post 👌🏼

Not just decorating here but a full renovation

A good mate of mine asked me to jump on board and help him with this project in halstead Back in late October.

We have done everything on this property from new windows, roof repairs and insulation, new central heating and radiators, new water feed to the property, kitchen & bathroom. Garden landscaping and finally the decorating. This was mainly just the 2 of us for the majority of the time, sparkys, plumbers and carpenter as and when we needed them.

A job I completed a few weeks ago, the final room on the Edwardian house and all on time for a family wedding.

This room had 3 layers of wallpaper including woodchip that I had to strip off. Major prep again on This room also including lining paper added to the ceiling then fully decorated.
Awaiting a new boiler cupboard door. ✅

Thanks to D.Roys Plastering Services for getting me out of trouble on this at short notice and switching his jobs around to get this room freshly plastered 🙏🏻 much appreciated. As you can see this room hasn’t been painted for many years.

Lining paper applied to the ceiling so I didnt have to disturb the old lime plaster underneath also by doing that the customer could keep the old cornice.
Removed and made good on the window that had secondary glazing. Customer waiting on a new stone fire place to complete the room ✅

This is a job i completed a few weeks ago. Hall, stairs, landing and bathroom for an elderly returning customer from 5 years ago. I took the stress away for this customer by organising the plasterer to plaster all 3 ceilings. Also organised the electrician to install 3 new lights, switches and sockets. Removed all carpets and grippers. Both areas needed modernising so I stripped back all the wallpaper, painted throughout. All the brown doors and handrails brought back to life and now a brilliant white. Thresholds stained again, applied new silicone to all the windows. Plus a few extras. Happy customer ✅

Following on from the earlier post, This is the second room that I’ve now started. Unfortunately this room is past repair trying to keep the original walls. Now waiting to be plastered. Update in about a week or so on this room 👌🏻😃
