Our clients envisioned a refined, contemporary kitchen that would sit effortlessly within this modern residence.

Designed by architect Allister Godfrey and showcasing the distinctive creative flair of interior designer Shoba Kumar, the space balances architectural precision with considered luxury.

The kitchen is anchored by a sculptural central island, perfectly positioned to capture expansive garden views and complement the open-plan layout.

This flowing arrangement invites movement and connection, allowing cooking, dining, and social spaces to blend seamlessly while preserving clearly defined, highly functional zones.

The kitchen has been reimagined as a refined, contemporary space, with a layout that maximises both preparation areas and discreet storage, replacing the former U-shaped arrangement in the top-right corner of the room. The flow through and around the kitchen has been carefully curated, subtly guiding movement along the angled walls as they narrow towards the patio doors.

At the heart of the design, a statement island with an integrated BORA cooktop forms an elegant focal point, transforming everyday cooking into a more luxurious, sociable experience.

A refined palette of matt glass, bronze metal, and walnut veneer. wall-hung Self-storage units and Eos shelves to achieve a minimalist yet practical design. The completed Soho sliding door transforms the lounge into a sleek, functional living space.

Wall-mounted Rimadesio self-storage units create a floating composition that conceals technology while maintaining a clean architectural appearance. Matt glass doors soften the visual presence of the cabinetry, while integrated walnut details introduce warmth and contrast.

Designed for a young girl growing up and needing a space of her own, this bathroom balances everyday practicality with a calm, elegant feel.

The defining feature of the room is our Craftsman’s Collection bespoke white oak fluted vanity, designed around her daily routines and the products she uses most, with considered storage to keep the space clutter-free.

The design brings together contemporary detailing with a respect for the home’s Georgian character. A soft palette of warm whites, brushed brass, and natural wood creates a timeless backdrop, while durable, forgiving materials make it perfectly suited to everyday life, from rushed mornings to the less careful moments that naturally come with a busy family home.

One of our key design priorities was celebrating the home’s stunning natural surroundings. We carefully oriented the kitchen to frame the view, positioning the island and main cooking zone so you’re always facing the scenery. This creates an uplifting connection to the outdoors, floods the space with natural light, and encourages easy, social interaction around the kitchen.
