In case no one noticed today was Sunday, the shop is closed on Sundays for another month so it is time for me to play especially as I also get Monday afternoons to play as well. Thank you Maddy Collins.

If you are a crafter on the hunt for a larger space for a project, get in touch and we will see if we can find you space on a regular or one-off time. I found the silence very satisfying, no distractions, and more importantly lots of space to spread out. Oh happy days.

Today we welcomed a new local artist, Simone Batchelor to the shop. I love her work, but I can't choose my favourite it is a toss up between two, the Puffin in the window or the boats at Bere which hangs opposite the till. Let me know which you prefer.

Today it was time to rearrange one of the displays in the shop window. This one is always a little bit more complicated as I have to ensure that the large board with the pictures on can turn. I will be moving some of the picures around tomorrow. Always busy, which is how I like it.

Today being Sunday the shop was closed, but that doesn't mean all work stopped and I had my feet up, chilling and not doing anything constructive. Far from it, I collected together my old tables, the ones I used to use when I was part of a group in Wellington.

I gave the tables a really good clean, dried them off, loaded them up in my car and took them into the shop ready for the workshop space. As you can see I have arranged them on the first floor in our new shop in Taunton.

There are 7 x 4ft tables which will be available to accommodate groups of up to 14 for workshops. If you are looking for a venue to hire for craft workshops please message me. If you are interested in taking part in workshops watch this space. Also if you are looking for a particular workshops to take part in let us know.
