This wonderful Coalport figurine of Wednesdays child is full of woe, has so far not received one view. Now it could be because he looks like right miserable... little boy, who's lost a pound and found a penny. To be fair, would you want a miserable little Herbert sat on your mantleshelf? probably not. Anyway, let's be kind, show him a bit of love and have a good look at him. You are under no obligation, looking doesn't cost, honest. If you could see your way clear to having a butchers hook at him, I would feel immensely happy that he is not sat on Ebay gathering dust. Thank you for reading.

Up for Auction on my Ebay page is this fascinating Coalport calendar from 2000. It is complete is a collectors item.and has detachable images of Coalport items for you to frame and display.

The calendar was published to coincide with the 250. It includes £250 of vouchers which are obviously now defunct. So why would anyone want a calendar from 26 years ago?. This is a must for anyone studying design or lovers of pottery and porcelain.

This is a magnificent hand card piece of tribal art, fully three dimensional. Originated probably in East or Central Africa and depicts a male (possible warrior) with a water bottle or powder keg suspended on a strap round his neck. The detail on this is stunning.

Hewn from a single piece of hardwood, it is very heavy and the nett weight is 2.488kg. It stands 28cm high, 18cm wide and 18cm deep.

This is definitely a statement piece for the right setting.
