It’s been a while… life has a habit of getting in the way.�But I’m finally back in the workshop, making gifts for brethren once again.
Some of you may know that I previously made Corn, W**e & Oil caskets which, amongst many others, were most recently presented to HRH Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, and to Jonathan Spence, Pro Grand Master. These were presented by my good friend and brother, Roger Clarke, on his appointment to Assistant Grand Standard Bearer.
One of my most loyal returning customers is Maxine Priestley, Deputy Grand Master of Women’s Freemasonry. Maxine has presented these caskets to Lady Freemasons across the globe, and it’s a real honour to know they are being shared so widely throughout the fraternity.
I’m also incredibly proud that one of these caskets is on display in the museum at Freemasons’ Hall, London, and was featured on UGLE’s Craftcast podcast during the episode with Mark Dennis from the museum.

With the Leicestershire & Rutland Festival 2032 approaching, I’ve decided to start making them again — and I’ve set myself a personal goal.
Over the five-year Festival period, I would love to produce 200 caskets in return for a minimum donation of £25 each (plus postage at cost, or free collection). If I achieve that goal, it will place at least £5,000 directly into the Festival Fund.
Personalised engraving can also be added to the underside of the casket for an additional £5 donation.
Every single £25 payment will go straight to the Festival Appeal. My time, workmanship, and materials will be my personal contribution towards helping reach the Festival goal.

As each casket is handmade and takes around four hours to complete, please be patient — I can realistically only make one or two per week.
