Ditch the paper cup ☕️
If you’re anything like me, tea or coffee just doesn’t taste right from cardboard.
A flask isn’t much better either… it keeps it hot, but loses something along the way.
Coffee is for morning rituals.
That first cup sets the tone. After 11 o’clock though — it’s tea time. No debate.
And it deserves a proper mug.
For me, that means fine bone china.
There’s something about it — the feel, the rim, the comfort of a favourite cup — that makes even a simple drink better.
So this spring, I’ve started packing one in my beach bag.
Picture this:
You’ve had a morning in the surf. The wetsuit’s drying. You’re wrapped in a poncho, sitting on a blanket as the light softens over the sea.
The kettle boils.
And instead of a paper cup… you pour tea into china.
And everything slows down.
It’s not about being fancy. It’s about enjoying simple things properly.
It’s also one less disposable cup in the bin 🌊
Beach essentials:
• Towel
• Cap
• Poncho
• Blanket
• Water bottle
• Fine bone china mug 🤍
Small moments. Proper rituals.
Who’s with me?
