Hello lovely people! 💕✨ This is the first post I’ve shared in a little while, and if I’m honest, I’ve been in a bit of a creative slump over the summer. I think I needed the break, but I’ve also found it surprisingly hard to get back into my creative flow.
Then yesterday, I joined the lovely Rachel from Dreckly Wild Women 🐚 Women’s Community and a group of wonderful women for a creative meetup at the gorgeous Jay Bird Deli - Portreath’s local Deli, Cafe and Community Space where we each brought something we’d made, shared it with the group and swapped our creations — leaving with a bag full of gorgeous creative goodies. 🎨🧵✨
It was honestly just the creative boost I needed. 💕
The day before, I had a little mad moment and painted 12 wine glasses for the meetup, and I was SO happy with how they turned out. It felt really good to be making again, and even better to share something I’d created with other creative women.
There’s something so special about being around people who love making things, sharing ideas and encouraging each other. 💗
Sometimes you just need to get out, make something and surround yourself with lovely people. ✨🎨💕
