If you’ve ever wanted to understand what separates an exceptional oak floor from an ordinary one, this is a morning for you.

This September, we’re welcoming the team from Panaget to Woven & Woods for two relaxed mornings dedicated to the art of French oak.

Panaget have been crafting wood flooring for nearly a century, with a strong focus on French oak, responsible sourcing and in house production.

Over coffee and croissants, we’ll be talking through the details that matter when choosing and specifying a timber floor, from provenance and wood grades to finishes, character and craftsmanship - with the opportunity to see and compare the floors in person and ask the Panaget team your own questions.

Particularly suited to interior designers, architects and specifiers, as well as clients considering a high quality timber floor for their own project.

Another beautiful transformation on the stairs ✨

This one features Transat by Hartley & Tissier, a modern linear design that’s available in a fantastic range of colourways.

For this particular project, the pink and blue combination works brilliantly, bringing a bold hit of colour while keeping the overall look contemporary and considered.

And with so many other colour variations available, Transat can create a completely different feel depending on the palette you choose.

Flatweave runners bring such visual impact, almost like a piece of tapestry art woven into the architecture of the house.

The details matter.

Here, Chris, one of our expert installers, is carefully chiselling a recess into the oak alongside the sliding door frame that connects the living space to the garden. He’s removing exactly the right amount of timber so we can install a black filler piece that sits perfectly flush.

Why go to all that effort? Because details like this create a seamless junction between the aluminium frame and the timber. There are no bulky trims, no awkward transitions - just a clean, intentional finish.

It’s one of those details most people won’t think about, but it’s exactly the sort of detail that defines a high end joinery installation.
