‼️‼️⚠️⚠️ Yesterday was incredibly tough. While setting up, our marquee suddenly took off in the wind, even with the weights attached it came dangerously close to hitting nearby shop windows and cars.
In the chaos, a lot of my stock was damaged: smashed diffusers, wax burners and broken wax melts. Thankfully, these things can be replaced.
What made it harder was that I’d just come from my uncle’s funeral, so I wasn’t in the best place mentally for something like this to happen. We had no choice but to pack up and miss the Uckfield - Late Night Shopping event.
We’ve had many messages from our lovely local customers asking where we were. This event is always such a good one for our small business, so it was really sad that we couldn’t be there.
For the rest of December, I’ll still be honouring all the offers we had running, on whatever stock we still have available.
