I’ve love the clean, sophisticated look of a monochrome room, but every "quiet" space needs a "loud" moment. I picked these drawers up for a good price second hand, just loved the shape and 'Beauty and the Beast' vibe. I've had them in my collection for a while, waiting for the right time — this was that moment.
Instead of a standard restoration, I treated the wood like a canvas. By using aging techniques with different tones of chalk paint and decoupage , this piece went from "dated storage" to the "soul of the room."
