Calligraphy for Mothers Day last weekend at Exeter as part of the team writing on the beautiful sleeves for the special chocolate box selections 🫶🏼

I had the best time writing special messages, the team in the shop were amazing (keeping me topped up with salted caramel hot chocolates), and the ink and flow WhatsApp group was popping the whole time and it made me feel like I was working alongside a bunch of other amazing calligraphers as if we were all together!

Painting your wedding photos is probably one of my favourite things to do. 🫶🏼

There’s something so special about turning a real moment into a piece of art you can hang on your wall forever.

Add a bit of calligraphy, slightly messy black lining, and those metallic splatters… and suddenly it becomes one of my signature pieces.

Every love story has a sky above it 🌟

This moon was created for Kim & Chris, capturing the moon phase from their special date - 16.10.2025. I look up the exact lunar phase from that night and recreate it by hand using watercolours, ink splatter and modern calligraphy.

No two moons are ever the same. Each one is completely handmade - every brushstroke, every speckle of paint and every letter done slowly and intentionally.

Pairing the moon with meaningful words can make these commissions so special. This piece carries the quote:

“I love you in the morning,
And in the afternoon.
I love you in the evening,
And underneath the moon.”

There’s something timeless about those words - love that exists through every moment of the day, and beneath the same moon that watches over us all.

In a world of digital prints and mass-produced art, there’s something really special about owning a piece that has been made entirely by hand. A moment in time, captured in paint and ink.

All packaged up and ready for collection or postage, this handful of pieces ends a lovely couple of months of creating beautiful gifts once again!

Yesterday in the sunshine I ventured down to this beautiful new pop up shop that has opened in Watchet for the season and did a bit of window and chalkboard freehand lettering! ⚓️

Full of beautiful coastal and nautical homewares (and hand painted Watchet life rings 😉) definitely add it to your itinerary!

It is located on Swain street, in the Mayfly Studio. If you came to visit me when I did my little open studios, it’s the same place! 🫶🏼

It’s incredible to see another bricks and mortar shop popping up on our already vibrant high street, selling the most adorable homey gifty bits! 🩵🐚💦🐟🌊⛵️
