🌈 Scrapstore Weekly Update — And It’s a BIG One!

The shelves are looking phenomenal this week 🤩 — fully topped up, bursting with colour, texture and all the creative bits you love. 🥰

Whether you’re into sewing, sticking, painting or glueing, we’ve got everything ready for your next project, workshop or event 📆

This week we’ve topped up some absolute favourites 👋👋👋👋

• Wooden circles — fully restocked and perfect for crafting, displays and creative builds

• Artificial grass — great for sensory play, backdrops and imaginative setups

• Fabric — loads of colours and textures ready for sewing, decorating and crafting

• Wooden boxes — ideal for storage projects, painting, personalisation and classroom activities

• Coloured threads — bright, bold and perfect for stitching, embroidery and creative detailing

Yesterday we hit Wiltshire for another fantastic Multi‑Swap Day Wiltshire Scrapstore & Resource Centre — joining 10 amazing Scrapstores ⭐️

These days are honestly magic.
We swap our goodies for their goodies… and come home with a van full of fresh treasures ready to hit the MK Scrapstore shelves.

NEW at the Scrapstore! ⭐️
We’ve had some brilliant donations this week — a fantastic batch of wood and a huge delivery of artificial grass. Week in, week out our supporters keep this charity and Scrapstore thriving, and we’re so grateful.

Plus… bottles with lids in every shade and size have just landed 🛬
These will fly off the shelves — perfect for crafts, sorting, sensory play and storage.

Donations from companies, businesses, and individuals are vital to the success of our Scrapstore. Whether it’s cardboard tubes, fabric offcuts, packaging, trims, or end-of-line stock, every item has the potential to be transformed into something creative and meaningful.
These generous contributions allow us to continue offering free access play sessions for children and families across Milton Keynes, while also helping to reduce waste. By giving surplus materials a second life through crafting, upcycling, and creative play, we keep valuable resources out of landfill and turn them into opportunities for learning, imagination, and fun.
